Malappuram: Syed Ibrahimul Khalil Al Bukhari, Secretary of Samasta and Chairman of Ma’adin Academy, was the guest at the Al Badr Festival organized under the Fujairah administration on the occasion of the Prophet’s birthday. Khalil Bukhari who arrived at the Milad event was received by Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah.
Under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Fujairah, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Youth, various arts and cultural programs were organized covering the various stages of the Prophet’s life history and moral values.
The event organized at the Fujairah Creative Center featured daf and art performances by groups from the UAE, Egypt, Oman and Syria. Scholarship winners sponsored by Crown Prince of Fujairah as part of Al Badr were felicitated at the event. Arabic calligraphy, calligraphy paintings and storytelling on Prophet’s biography for school students were also held as part of the festival.
Khalil Bukhari Thangal said that mercy and love were shown by the Prophet Muhammad and that Milad celebrations are a reason to learn and copy the Prophet’s messages. They praised the administration of Fujairah for planning and executing the celebrations in the best possible way.
