ABU DHABI, 25th May, 2020 (WAM) — The Al-Azhar Pavilion, on the first day of the thirty-second session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, witnessed a great interest from the pioneers, due to the various publications that address the most prominent contemporary intellectual issues, discuss issues of dialogue, tolerance, coexistence, fatwa control, dissemination of moderate thought, and combating extremism and extremism.

The Al-Azhar Pavilion also witnessed multiple visits by some prominent personalities who were keen to inspect the Pavilion and see its publications.

During the exhibition period, Al-Azhar will display 400 publications of Al-Azhar’s various publications, printed and translated into more than one language, to enrich different cultures in various legal and intellectual sciences and Islamic arts.

Al-Azhar’s participation in international exhibitions comes as a window for spreading Islamic culture and enlightened moderation thought through the publications of its various sectors and its library, which is one of the oldest libraries in the world, as it includes handwritten manuscripts dating back more than a thousand years, as well as books and scientific references that contain in their content religious sciences, legitimacy and astronomy. And the rare manuscripts that help scholars and researchers to study them.
