Al-Assad points a legislative decree disbursing a monetary grant

Syria – Yesterday, Monday, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued a legislative decree stipulating the disbursement of a one-time monetary grant in a lump sum of 300,000 Syrian kilos to all employees and retirees within the nation.

The Syrian presidency’s accounts said that the grant is exempt from revenue tax on salaries and wages and some other deductions.

Based on Legislative Decree No. 14 of 2024, the grant contains:

1- All employees inside the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic (civilians and army) in ministries, departments, public establishments, public sector corporations and institutions, different administrative models, standard labor, confiscated corporations and institutions, completely seized non-public colleges and the like, and different public sector entities, in addition to joint sector entities that The state’s contribution shall not be lower than 75% of its capital and people recruited into the military and armed forces.”
