The Executive Committee of Al-Ahly Club, headed by Muhannad Al-Bulaihi, consists of other members: Khaled Al-Issa, Ayman Al-Rashed, Abdul Aziz Al-Anqari, in addition to a member outside the administration, Bakr Al-Muhanna.

Al-Anqari was among the names nominated by the Public Investment Fund to assume the position of board member of Al-Ahly Club last July, following the Fund acquired 75% of the club.

On the other hand, according to sports journalist Mohamed Al-Qaoud, it appears that the reasons for the departure of French player Karim Benzema from the Saudi Al-Ittihad are not of a sporting nature as is currently spread.

Al-Qaoud posted on his personal Twitter account: “I learned from a very reliable source that Karim Benzema’s departure from the Saudi Federation has nothing to do with the sporting aspect or the surrounding environment at all.”

He added: “There are other dimensions and very interesting details, which I will save for the appropriate time.”
