The Qatari capital, Doha, is preparing to host world Cup 2022, which will be for the first time on Arab soil, since the inception of the competition, an event that will receive special coverage from various media outlets.
The journalist, Tayseer Abdullah, spoke in an interview with Al-Araby Al-Jadeed regarding his feeling at the moment of the announcement of the organization World Cup In Qatar, by the International Federation of Football Associations.
Abdullah revealed his team and his favorite star in world football, in addition to the team he will support in the world championship, and the player who will receive the symbol of the championship from the Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Qatari journalist compared the two legends, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, while giving good news to the Qataris regarding his expectations for the Annabi team’s chances in the World Cup.
Tayseer Abdullah lamented the absence of two Arab teams from the tournament, while wishing success for the rest of the Arab teams participating in the World Cup.
It is noteworthy that Tayseer Abdullah holds a bachelor’s degree in radio and television from Qatar University, and is considered a social activist in the State of Qatar. He began his media career in 1989, where he initially worked in the field of journalistic writing, and also worked in many Qatari newspapers and magazines.
