South African Pitso Mosimane, coach of Al-Ahly club, has settled on the formation that will face the Saudi Al-Hilal team in the framework of the FIFA Club World Cup, which is held in the UAE.
Al-Ahly, the champion of Egypt and Africa, will play Al-Hilal, the champion of Saudi Arabia and Asia, at 3:00 p.m. today, Saturday, at Al Nahyan Stadium in Al-Wahda Club, in a match to determine the third and fourth places.
And “Yalla Koura” learned that Musimani decided to use the services of the duo coming from the junior sector in Al-Ahly, Mohamed Abdel Moneim and Ahmed Abdel Qader in the basic formation to compensate for the absences.
Mohamed Abdel Moneim to participate at the expense of Ayman Ashraf in the defensive side, following he was suspended by his expulsion in the last Palmeiras match, which ended in favor of the Brazilian champions (2-0), while Abdel Qader plays at the expense of Mohamed Magdy “Afsha”, who is suspended for receiving two warnings.
Another card that Musimani will resort to is to push Hamdi Fathi following he played as a substitute in the Palmeiras match, to be a substitute for defender Rami Rabia.
It is expected that Al-Ahly will play in a formation consisting of:
Goalkeeper: Ali Lotfi.
Defense line: Mohamed Abdel Moneim – Hamdi Fathi – Yasser Ibrahim.
Midfield: Ali Maaloul – Aliou Diang – Amr Al-Sulayya – Mohamed Hani.
Attacking midfield: Taher Mohamed Taher – Ahmed Abdel Qader.
Offensive line: Mohamed Sharif.
It is worth noting that Al-Ahly is seeking the bronze medal for the third time in its history, following winning it during the (2006) and (2020) editions.
