The delegation of the first football team of Al-Ahly Club arrived a short time ago at Abu Dhabi Airport in the Emirates, in preparation for participating in the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly’s mission is undergoing a new medical examination at Abu Dhabi Airport, as part of the coordination procedures from the Medical Committee for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly’s list included: Walid Suleiman, Ali Lotfi, Hussein Al-Shahat, Rami Rabea, Mohamed Hani, Taher Mohamed Taher, Aliou Diang, Mohamed Mahmoud, Ahmed Abdel Qader, Ammar Hamdi, Percy Tao, Mohamed Ashraf, Mohamed Fakhry, Afsha, Mahmoud Waheed, Hamza Alaa, Karim Fouad, Hossam Hassan, Louis Michisoni, Ziad Tariq and Mustafa Makhlouf and Yasser Ibrahim.
The team’s mission will enter a closed camp in the Emirates, in preparation for the Club World Cup, and the rest of the international players participating with the national team in the African Cup of Nations currently being held in Cameroon will join them.
Percy Tau will complete physiotherapy and recovery training during the UAE camp, on the sidelines of the team’s presence in the Club World Cup.
Al-Ahly will play its first match in the Club World Cup on February 5 once morest FC Monterrey, the Mexican champion, as part of the preliminary round matches of the tournament.
