UAFA’s flagship competition, the Arab Club Championship, 2023 edition, recently launched, the ‘’King Salman Club Cup’’ attracts the big Arab clubs.
After The Two Giants Al Ahly et Zamalek who have confirmed their candidatures, it is the turn of the Tunisian club, Hope to do.
In an official statement posted on his social networks, Hope announces that he has already received an official invitation from UAFA via the Tunisian Federation.
In Morocco, rumors abound but still nothing official. The Federation had taken the decision to authorize only one international commitment to Moroccan clubs.
This means that the Wydadthe Raja and the FAR are excluded from the possible Moroccan participants in the very lucrative Arab championship.
Only, UEFA also has a say. She wants the “big clubs” and she demands to limit the choice to the first 4 of the last season. Moreover, they insist on the choice of Raja and Wydad.
A plateau made up of Zamalek, Ahly, Wydad, Raja, Esperance and An-Nasr is more appealing from a media and sporting point of view.
