Al-Ahly rejects the Gulf temptations to sell Al-Shennawi in the summer

Al-Ahly club officials renewed their rejection of the departure of Mohamed El-Shennawy, the captain of the red team, during the summer transfer period, following receiving offers during the recent period, most notably from the Saudi Al-Nasr club, which renewed its interest in including the Al-Ahly captain next summer.

And press reports revealed that the Saudi victory renewed its interest in the inclusion of Muhammad Al-Shennawi next summer.

Despite Al-Ahly’s rejection of Al-Shennawi’s transfer to the Saudi victory, the latter’s management is committed to the inclusion of the international goalkeeper and believes that the financial temptations, whether for the player or his club, will change their refusal to sell him next summer.

Al-Ahly adheres to Al-Shennawi’s survival as one of the most important elements of the red team and the captain of the team, and the technical staff relies on him a lot in the dressing room, unlike his technical and leadership role on the field, so he has reservations regarding discussing any offers related to him, whatever the temptations.

The idea that there is no alternative to Al-Shennawi at the same level, whether in the ranks of Al-Ahly or outside it, is among the reasons that motivate the officials of the Red Castle to refuse the leader’s departure and adhere to his continuity, in light of the lack of complete conviction within Al-Ahly of the capabilities of the duo Ali Lotfi and the rising goalkeeper Mustafa Schubert, who lacks experience.
