Al-Ahly issues an official statement after qualifying for the CAF Champions League final against Wydad

The club’s board of directors issued Al Ahly headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, an official statement announcing the holding of an emergency meeting tomorrow, Sunday, with members of the Board of Directors of the Football Company, to discuss the crisis of the African Champions League final stadium.

The Confederation of African Football announced that it would host the Mohammed V complex in Casablanca, Morocco, for the final match of the African Champions League.

Al-Ahly was able to oust Algeria’s ES Setif from the semi-finals of the Champions League following defeating them in the first leg, in the two matches, 6-2 on aggregate.

Al-Ahly qualified to face Wydad Morocco in the final match, which will be held on Monday, May 30th.

In its meeting, the Council reviews all the administrative and legal steps that have been taken during the past few days, and takes decisions that preserve the club’s literary and artistic rights.
