Al-Ahly, Cairo and Egypt banks stopped saving certificates today, with a return of 25%

And the National Bank of Egypt stated – in a statement – that regarding 60% of the purchases were carried out through alternative channels (Al-Ahly Net, Al-Ahly Mobile, and the call center) and the rest through the bank’s branches in various governorates of the Republic, which contributed to the joining of regarding 75 thousand new customers to the family of customers. It should be noted that the bank resorted to issuing a certificate with a return of 25%; Its goal is to tackle inflation and dollarization.

Mohamed El-Etreby, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banque Misr, had said that the proceeds of selling the new certificate with an annual interest of 25% and a monthly interest of 22.5% amounted to 460 billion pounds in Banque Misr and the National Bank so far.

And the bank stated – in a statement – that the bank will continue offering the “Primo Gold” certificate for a period of 3 years, with a return of 17.25% due annually, a return of 16.25% due every three months, and a return of 16.00% due monthly.
