Akhtar Mengal was allowed to participate in the elections

Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal was allowed to contest the general elections.

A 3-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faizaisa heard the appeal once morest the approval of Akhtarmengal’s nomination papers in the Supreme Court.

The counsel of the objector Yasir Ahmad Sultan Ahmed appeared in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court rejected the appeal once morest the decision of the High Court.
