2023-05-29 18:02:13

At the end of the 1st quarter of 2023, the turnover of the Akdital Group amounted to 380 MDH, thus recording an increase of 81% compared to the same period of the previous year.

This solid performance is explained by:

  • The strong contribution of establishments opened in 2022 and 2023, in particular the clinics in Salé, Safi, Agadir and Tangier.
  • The growth in turnover of the historic clinics of Casablanca and El Jadida

Investments made during the 1st quarter of 2023 reached an amount of 247 MDH (22 MDH in Q1 2022) and were mobilized as part of the Group’s development program.

Given the Group’s development momentum, net debt stood at 672 MDH at the end of March 2023, compared to 336 MDH at the end of December 2022.

Change in consolidation scope

During the 1st quarter of 2023, the Group widened its scope of consolidation to include the newly created entities, namely, the International Clinic of Mohammédia, the International Hospital of Fez and the International Oncology Center of Fez, consolidated by global integration.

Perspectives

As a national leader in the private health sector, the Group is committed to addressing the growing needs of patients for quality care, given the widespread extension of the Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO). With this in mind, the Group will continue in 2023, the consolidation of the partnerships necessary and prior to the implementation of its large-scale investment program planned between 2024 and 2025, aimed at strengthening its presence across the national territory.
