Ajour becomes the reference information platform in the region. From Tuesday, users who are used to obtaining information on the RJB website or application will be redirected to the Ajour site and application. This integration aims to ensure the relevance and continuity of online media coverage of the region. It will combine the strengths and skills of the editorial staff of the new company JBBS, owned and managed equally by the BNJ and Gassmann groups. “The grouping of resources allows for an improvement in media coverage of the Bernese Jura and the sustainability of our regional media,” the two groups indicated in a press release on Monday.
To ensure a smooth transition, users will initially be offered free access to the Ajour platform. Different subscription plans will be offered at the end of this trial period.
To answer listeners’ questions more precisely, a FAQ is available below.
The co-director of the BNJ group Jérôme Steulet will provide details live in the 12:15 p.m. newspaper.
Radio content still available on RJB.ch
The RJB site and application will not disappear, however. Content relating to radio programs such as daily broadcasts, audio diaries, filmed radio as well as games and competitions will still be offered to listeners. /comm-gtr
