The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized a Ramadan Majlis, with the participation and presence of ambassadors, consuls, heads and representatives of attachés and trade councils from countries around the world, in support of developing a renewed global economic relations network that supports opportunities for expansion and business development and promotes the emirate as an ideal destination for investment and business.
The council – which was held at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel – was attended by a member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Maher Tarish Al-Alayli, the Acting Director General of the Ajman Chamber, Mohammed Ali Al-Janahi, and the Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector in the Chamber, Ali Rashid Al-Kaitoub.
Al-Kaitub stressed the keenness of the Ajman Chamber to organize the Ramadan Majlis, with the aim of consolidating its relations and building a sustainable international partnership base, promoting investment opportunities in the emirate, working to attract foreign investments to it, discussing opportunities to diversify foreign markets for the emirate’s products, and increasing the volume of intra-trade between Ajman and the countries of the world. And the qualitative elements that characterize the emirate.
Al Kaitoub pointed out that the Ramadan Council aims to shed light on the level of major and successive developments and the distinguished economic recovery that the emirate is witnessing in all sectors, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince. Ahed Ajman, Chairman of the Executive Council.
In turn, the Acting Head of the Investment Attraction Department at the Ajman Chamber, Fatima Yacoub Al-Awadi, said that the Ramadan Majlis is an opportunity to explore the most prominent international economic exhibitions and events, and to discuss ways to participate in them among the attendees, in order to include them in the future plans of the Promotion Department.
For their part, the attendees, including ambassadors, consuls and officials of government agencies, stressed the importance of organizing such meetings on several occasions, to strengthen relations, build partnerships, and support international cooperation between all parties, praising the diversity of investment opportunities enjoyed by the Emirate of Ajman and the remarkable economic growth, which increases Partnership and cooperation opportunities.
