Aiyawat Apichet leads the King Power team. Defending the 2022 Ambassador Cup Polo Championship

Mr. Kanoksak Pinsaeng, President of the Polo Equestrian Association of Thailand Revealed regarding the preparation of polo equestrian competition in the program “The Ambassador Cup 2022” between 12-19 March 2022 at the VS Sports Club and Siam Polo Park, Bang Bo District, Samut Prakan Province. This is the first and only international competition of this season.

This year’s event is held for the 13th time, with polo players from 7 countries participating in the competition, consisting of “old champions” of the King Power Polo team, led by 2 brothers “Srivaddhanaprabha” Aiyawat- Apichet. Srivaddhanaprabha, silver medalist at the 29th SEA Games, team Tao Bin led by Ploy Pinsang, who recently led the team It won the Lady Polo 2022 title last February, with Brunei, the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea, England and Argentina.

The competition format is divided into line A, consisting of King Power Polo Team, Siam Polo Park, Nusantara Sai B, Brunei Polo Team, Globalport Polo Team, South Korea Polo Club, Tao Bin Polo Team, competing in the line, all meet. 2 teams in each group advance to the semi-finals, where the 1st place group A meets the 2nd place group B and the 1st place group B meets the 2nd place group A.

By the first day of the competition, starting on March 12, the “old champion” King Power Polo team enters the field for the first match to meet Siam Polo Park at 6:00 p.m., while Tao Bin enters the field to meet Brunei at 4:30 p.m.
