According to DigiTimes, Apple would continue to prepare the AirPods Pro 2, so that several subcontractors are already standing ready to deliver the chips of the devices to the brand following it has placed orders in bulk. The precise release date of this product remains unknown, however we know that Cupertino has a habit of organizing a keynote around the month of September, which seems to fit the announcement schedule.

As often, the company has yet to reveal anything regarding the second version of its most expensive wireless headphones. However, it is assumed that they will change format, finally abandoning their famous “rod” in favor of simple plug-type ear cups, which should be much more discreet to wear on a daily basis but also more stable in movement.
The processor meanwhile, would still have a proprietary design. As for the wireless charging battery, it might also improve by welcoming a small speaker to make Finder support more efficient. On the sound side, theAudio Lossless should be there, of course with active noise reduction.
A different pairing?
Recently, Gary Geaves -vice-president acoustics at Apple- also mentioned the case of Bluetooth which would have become a real flaw for developers working on AirPods. This technology would indeed not achieve the desired sound qualities, a major problem for a pair at nearly three hundred euros.
The last AirPods Pro date from 2019 and since, even with the “classic” AirPods of the third generation, the solution to connect the duo with audio sources has not really evolved.
