MacRumors and other foreign media reported on the 25th (local time) that a problem has been reported that some models of Apple’s latest wireless earphones, the second-generation AirPods Pro, are randomly disconnected.
According to the report, the disconnection problem occurs when the second-generation AirPods Pro are connected to an iPhone to play music or watch videos. The AirPods Pro appear to be connected, but are not actually playing audio.
One user experiencing the problem complained, “My iPhone keeps disconnecting randomly all day long.”
We don’t know how many users this bug will affect, but the AirPods Pro’s disconnection issue is also old enough to be reported on the original model released in 2019.
The first firmware update Apple released last week (version 5A377) includes bug fixes and other improvements. It is not yet known whether the bug fix has been included.
