Air Haifa received the operational operating license

Air Haifa will operate daily flights from Monday to the eve of Yom Kippur from Tel Aviv to Eilat and back. The flights from Haifa Airport to Eilat and Cyprus are expected to start in mid-October, subject to the security situation

The Air Haifa airline received the operational operating license from the Ministry of Transportation. In order to obtain the license, all the necessary processes have been completed, and the company is now prepared to operate commercial flights immediately.

From Monday until the evening of Yom Kippur, Air Haifa will operate two daily flights from Tel Aviv to Eilat at an introductory price of NIS 99 one way. The flights from Haifa Airport to Eilat and Cyprus will begin after Yom Kippur subject to the security situation, with the first flight from Haifa to Eilat expected to take off on Sunday, October 13. And the next day the first flight from Haifa to Cyprus is expected to take off. It should be noted that depending on the developments in the security situation, the company’s activities may be directed to Israel.

The starting price for the company’s flights from Haifa to Eilat is NIS 139 one way, and to Cyprus 64 dollars each way. With each purchase of an Air Haifa flight ticket, the date of the flight can be canceled or changed on the company’s website up to 24 hours before departure in exchange for credit for a future purchase. The company’s flight tickets include a small bag that can be stored under the seat and the option to add additional products for a fee such as a trolley, a suitcase and a seat.

With the start of operations, Air Haifa’s aircraft fleet will include two ATR 72-600 aircraft with 72 seats, with additional aircraft expected to join them in the coming months.
