Transatlantic skies will be blue-white-red this winter. Air France announced, on July 12, a reinforcement of its North American offer for the end of the year.

First novelty, the national company will add a destination to your table: Raleigh-Durham airport (North Carolina). Three direct flights will take place each week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle from October 30, 2023, specifies Air France in a press release. The 279-seat aircraft will depart from Paris in the early followingnoon (1:30 p.m.) arriving at RDU at 4:35 p.m. local time. Flights in the other direction will take off at 6:45pm and land at 8:25 the following day.
A hotspot for research with its concentration of universities, the capital of North Carolina is Air France’s fourteenth destination on American soil following Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles , Miami, New York JFK, New York Newark, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.
Pre-pandemic record broken
In addition to this new destination, the company plans to increase its flights between Roissy and Dallas-Fort Worth (Texas). During the winter, five weekly connections will be offered per week compared to three last year. Paris-Montreal and Paris-Vancouver will also be more frequent. They will go from seventeen to twenty-one and from three to five respectively.
Bonus for Montrealers: Air France also plans to resume its seasonal service between the Quebec city and Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) with two flights per week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from December 2, 2023.
