Several years ago, a consultation platform was set up to find a solution to the nuisances around the airport. At the beginning of the week, it appeared that no general consensus had been found.

Air Cargo Belgium participated in the consultation “from A to Z” and does not recognize the minister’s conclusions. Yesterday/Friday, the latter presented a draft ministerial decree aimed at limiting noise pollution for residents of the Brussels airport. The most striking measure of this project concerns the total ban on night flights, from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.

This measure is highly criticized by the sector, Air Cargo Belgium deploring in particular the “unilateral approach” favored by Minister Ecolo.
