Air Canada announced that it would resume its year-round non-stop route between Lyon and Montreal.
It will be operated up to four times a week from October 13, 2023. This is the fifth non-stop connection from mainland France. It is added to existing flights departing from Paris-Charles de Gaulle in destination to Toronto and of Montréalas well as the connection Toulouse-Montreal operated all year round, and seasonal flights between Nice and Montreal.
Air Canada flights between Lyon and Montreal are operated by Airbus A330-300 able to accommodate 297 passengers in three classes: Premium Economy, Economy and Air Canada Signature Class, offering passengers superior comfort and convenience in an exclusive cabin with spacious sleeper chairs, personalized service, fine cuisine, additional baggage allowance and access to priority services at the airport. All flights are scheduled to optimize connections with Air Canada’s extensive North American network.
Air Canada also offers non-stop flights all year round between French overseas regions and Canada, notably from Fort-de-France and of Pointe-a-Pitre towards Montreal. In total, the airline operates 30 weekly flights from mainland France and French overseas regions to its Montreal and Toronto hubs during the peak summer season.
