A Toronto student blames Air Canada for delaying her flight by five days without offering any compensation.

In a video seen by more than 400,000 people on TikTok, Chloe Shi slammed the airline, saying her return flight from New York to Toronto was canceled and then rescheduled five days later.

“Also, by the way, we had no compensation for food or hotel,” she concludes.

In the comments, the TikTokeuse explains that the flight was postponed due to bad weather.

She also said she had to take a bus home.

Several Internet users replied that she should contact Air Canada to obtain possible compensation.

“They will probably try to dismiss your complaint, but then you can file a complaint with the Canadian Transportation Agency,” wrote one TikTok user.

“You have to ask for compensation, otherwise you won’t receive any. They are betting on the fact that you will not ask for anything, ”claims another person.

Other Internet users took the opportunity to report their own bad experience with Air Canada.

“It’s the worst airline,” said one.
