“Air Canada announces expanded winter program with four new routes to Mexico and the West Indies”

Air Canada announced an expansion of its winter program including four new links departing from Toronto and Montreal for Monterrey et Los Cabos in Mexico, and for La Romana and Fort-de-France in the West Indies.

Air Canada will be the only airline to offer a direct service between Toronto and Monterrey, Mexico’s third largest metropolis, with four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), and will launch a weekly flight (Friday) from Montreal in Los Cabos, which will complement service from Toronto and Vancouver to this popular Mexican vacation destination. It will operate a link from Toronto to Fort-de-France in Martique with a rotation per week (Saturday) and a link from Montreal to La Romana in the Dominican Republic with there also a rotation per week (Sunday).

The Canadian airline will also deploy significantly increased capacity this winter from its Vancouver hub to popular sun destinations such as North American cities Miami, Phoenix, Las Vegas and San Diego, as well as additional flights to vacation destinations. popular in Mexico and the West Indies.

With this expansion of its winter program for sun destinations, Air Canada expects to increase its capacity by 11% compared to 2022 and expects to operate 8% more flights than those offered before the pandemic in 2019.
