New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is aiming for a bigger victory in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections than in 2019. Narendra Modi, who is on his way to his third victory, has suggested that 50 percent of the vote should be secured next year.
“The BJP should win 50 percent of the total votes next year,” Narendra Modi said at the party’s national meeting in New Delhi on Friday. In the last assembly elections, the BJP won 303 seats with 37.36 percent votes.
The Prime Minister said the BJP might win a more decisive victory if it gets more than 50 percent of the votes. Modi directed the workers to take the government’s plans to the people and focus on four important areas namely women, farmers, youth and the poor.
Unlike the previous rulers, this government gives importance to welfare activities. The Prime Minister told the party workers that hunger is the biggest caste in this country.
Another suggestion given by the Prime Minister was to focus on real developments and not fall for the negative politics played by the opposition. He added that such politics do not deserve attention and should be vigorously defended. He said that social media should be evaluated to attract the youth and innovative means like Instagram reels should be used for communication.
