Aim for Youth Commission status and own a bright future; Joy Mathew with sarcasm

Thiruvananthapuram: Actor Joy Mathew mocked the Finance Department’s decision to hike the salary of State Youth Commission Chairperson Chinta Jerome. He sarcastically wrote on Facebook that children wasting money, time and energy for grades and grades should aim for youth commission status and have a bright future. He also reminded that it is good to keep this in mind for children who go abroad for life.

Earlier Adv. A Jayashankar also came out criticizing the decision to increase the salary of Chinta. Jaishankar sneered that one lakh is not enough considering the poor service done by his comrade as the chairman of the Youth Commission and he might have given him the rank of Chief Secretary at least.

Meanwhile, last month, the finance department gave approval to increase Chinta Jerome’s salary from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. It is reported that Chinta’s salary was increased following the intervention of Minister Mohammad Riaz. Chinta Jerome became the Chairperson of the State Youth Commission in October 2016. The new decision is to pay Rs 1 lakh from October 2016. With this, Chinta may get Rs 37 lakh in salary arrears.
