Archyde: Your farewell video at Dublin Airport touched so many people. What was going through your mind during that moment?
Aideen: oh, it was such an emotional day. Saying goodbye to my family was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. I think the video captured that raw, unfiltered moment of love and gratitude. I’m so close to my family, and knowing we won’t be just a short drive away anymore was tough. But at the same time, I felt this overwhelming sense of excitement for what’s ahead. It’s a mix of sadness and joy, you know?
Archyde: Absolutely. What inspired the move to Dubai? Was it a long-time dream, or did it happen spontaneously?
Aideen: It’s been a dream for a while, actually. Dave and I have always been drawn to the energy and opportunities in Dubai. We visited a few years ago and fell in love with the city—the culture, the people, the lifestyle. It felt like a place where we could grow both personally and professionally. When the opportunity arose to make the move, we knew it was the right time.
Archyde: That’s amazing. How do you plan to adapt your content and brand to this new habitat?
Aideen: great question! I think Dubai offers such a unique backdrop for content creation. From the stunning architecture to the vibrant culture,there’s so much to explore and share. I’m excited to incorporate more travel, lifestyle, and even cultural content into my platform. I also want to connect with the local influencer community and collaborate on projects that resonate with both my existing audience and new followers in the region.

Aideen: I’m so grateful for the outpouring of love and support. Aideen: Oh, so many things! The sunshine, for starters—it’s a nice change from the Irish weather! (laughs) But seriously, I’m excited to immerse myself in the culture, try new foods, and explore the city’s hidden gems. Dave and I are also looking forward to building a home together and creating a life that reflects our shared dreams. It’s a fresh start, and we’re ready to make the most of it.
