The current situation of actor Ahn Sung-ki, who is suffering from blood cancer, has been revealed.

On the 31st, actor Jeong Kyung-soon posted several photos on Instagram, saying, “I love you, Hye-soo and Ahn Seong-ki after a long time at Mr. Son-suk’s performance ‘Toccata’.”

In the photo, Jung Kyung-soon and Kim Hye-soo are posing affectionately with their heads together. Ahn Seong-gi, her juniors Jeong Kyung-soon and Kim Hye-soo are smiling brightly together.

At the opening ceremony of the special exhibition celebrating the 40th anniversary of director Bae Chang-ho’s debut in September of last year, Ahn Seong-ki stood on stage with Kim Bo-yeon’s support. Wearing a wig on a somewhat swollen face, rumors of health problems were raised.

The agency Artist Company said, “Ahn Seong-ki is undergoing treatment for blood cancer.” We plan to focus on recovery and treatment so that we can greet each other in a healthy way.”

He underwent chemotherapy and worked hard to recover, and after that, he appeared in front of the public with a much improved appearance.

Ahn Seong-ki received the Achievement Award at the Grand Bell Awards at the end of 2022 and said through a video, “You worry about my health a lot, but it’s getting better, and I’ll see you all in a new movie.”

In addition, he showed a recovery of health by attending the ‘4.19 Democratic Peace Prize’ ceremony held in April of this year and the 1st anniversary memorial ceremony for the late Kang Soo-yeon in May. In June, he appeared with Park Joong-hoon on the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the 27th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) and was delighted.
