“Through inaction and a series of fake news spreads over the past week, the main opposition party has shown (clearly) that it has neither the will to unite nor the sincerity.”

Candidate Ahn emphasized that candidate Yoon’s side was procrastinating on time and tried to put him in a corner, and emphasized that candidate Yoon was responsible for the failure of unification.

He said he sincerely apologizes to the people who felt confused by the unification proposal.

Now, he said that he would put an end to wasteful debates and receive the people’s choice.

“Let’s figure out what a real regime change (required by this era) is, and who is the right person with the vision and ability to make a better Korea following the regime change.”

After the declaration of unification, Candidate Ahn moved to Hongdae Street in Seoul and resumed street campaigning.

The People’s Power said that the declaration of breakdown was unexpected, leaving the possibility of unification at the last minute.

“We must not disappoint the people who are demanding a regime change. I hope that we will continue to work together for regime change.”

The remarks made by Lee Jun-seok regarding the People’s Party that it will uphold the maintenance of the local election chairman who died in a car wash accident also fueled controversy.

“The deceased died suddenly and unexpectedly, so where do you check the status of the deceased? No, then, people who drive car washes from the People’s Party or those who drive buses write a will before entering.”

The People’s Party strongly criticized it as “a wretched remark that sprinkles salt on the wounds of the bereaved family,” and President Lee countered that “the maintenance of the deceased should not be used as a basis for completing the course” and “a point that can be made”.
