The artist Ahmed Malallah stressed, during the activities of the ninth session of the Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth, that “the language of the child is difficult, because it is frank, and this is what makes the festival a point of convergence with this category and studying its future through cinema, and through this wonderful annual event we became We see great examples of promising judges who contribute to evaluating cinematic works.”
He pointed out that heritage is art, language, folklore and proverbs, all integrated and linked to the environment in which we live. The language of the child is difficult, and the festival’s success in targeting the young and young category is a great success point for the Emirate of Sharjah and its cultural message to the world.
Malallah advised young people not to pay attention from the beginning to performing first-grade roles, as gradualism is the year of the universe, pointing out that his first experience was a role consisting of 8 words, then he brought it following meditation to 24 words, and this theatrical role, which was his first experience, earned him the title “Best Promising Actor”, and was honored by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
Malallah said: “Social media helps young people achieve their ambitions, and presents them with a golden, low-cost opportunity to appear in front of the public and break the barrier of fear. It is a factor that enriches talent and enhances the seeds of creativity among young people.”
Regarding his work, which constitutes a pivotal point in his artistic life, Ahmed Malallah did not hesitate to choose the movie “How do you hear me answer”, pointing out that writer Abdullah Zaid held him a great responsibility in this huge Emirati comedy work, which is one of the most successful locally and Arab works.
Malallah advised the artists to focus on attending rehearsals, and meeting with the work team before the date of recording or filming, stressing that this is an influential factor in the circulation and treatment of the text and the consultation between the artist, director and writer on many points through which the actor may interfere in choosing the character and method performance, and the actor may suggest to the director specific ideas during rehearsals that have a significant impact on the progress and success of the work.
