Ahmed Al-Khalili is angry after the spread of the rumor of his death..and is trying to reassure his mother

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs confirmed that the Jordanian YouTuber, Ahmed Al-Khalili, is alive, and the news of his death, which was spread on his official page on “Instagram”, is not true, for reasons that are not clear so far.

The Ministry’s Operations Center had received calls from relatives and acquaintances of al-Khalili on social media, stating that there was news circulating that he had died in Egypt.

For his part, the YouTuber’s brother, Ahmed Al-Khalili, confirmed in local press statements: “Ahmed is alive, and we have contacted him, but we do not yet know the details of his disappearance.”

And the public circulated on social media platforms, a video confirming that the Jordanian social activist and YouTuber Ahmed Al-Khalili is alive, and he appeared in a state of anger as he tried to communicate with his mother to reassure her of his health.

Ahmed Al-Khalili caused widespread controversy and confusion in Jordan, after publishing a picture of an obituary on his official page on “Instagram”, stating that he passed away during his visit to Egypt, and the comment stated: “With great sadness and sorrow and with hearts that believe in God’s judgment and destiny, we mourn the death of the beloved Ahmed Al-Khalili, who He passed away a short while ago in Egypt.. We belong to God and to Him we shall return. I pray for his mercy.”

The family of Ahmed Al-Khalili was surprised by the news that spread, stressing that they were not aware of the news circulating about his death, and they tried to appeal to the concerned authorities to clarify the matter.

A large number of influencers in Jordan tried to be with the family of Ahmed Al-Khalili, to communicate with the followers, and to inform them of the developments of events through their official pages on the “Instagram” application, including Wissam Qutb, Muhammad Sabbagh, the twins Abdullah and Ali Al-Shashti, and other social media stars.

Followers interacted extensively with the news of the disappearance of Ahmed Al-Khalili, who occupied the Jordanian media community during the past hours, and Jordanian journalist Ammar Al-Hindi demanded an investigation into the case, to see if the Jordanian YouTuber’s behavior was intended to increase his fame.

Al-Hindi wrote through his account on “Instagram”: “It is necessary to verify what happened with Ahmed Al-Khalili, in the event that what happened was an intentional act for the purpose of fame or to increase followers from 566,000 to 735,000. Cairo and the people, both Jordanians and non-Jordanians, all lived through very difficult moments and great tension because of what happened.”
