Ahmed Al-Ahmar, the star of the handball team in Zamalek Club, won the title of man of his team’s match against Al-Ahly at the top of the first combined session of the Handball Professional League finals, which ended with a score of 34/28 at Hassan Mostafa Hall on the 6th of October.
The first half ended 12/11 in favor of Al-Abyad, as the balance of Zamalek rose to 10 points, while Al-Ahly reached the point of 8 and a half.
The meeting was held without fans, according to the instructions of the security meeting for the first combined session since its launch last Wednesday, amid a strong ambition for the two teams to win before the start of the second combined session.
The second combined session will be held on March 29, 30 and 31, also at Hassan Mustafa Hall.
The same hall will host the final summit of the Handball Professional League for the local season 2021/2022 on March 31 between Al-Ahly and Zamalek at six in the evening, where the matches are broadcast live on the On Time Sports channel.
