The Laval Rocket had no solution in front of Malcolm Subban and lost 2-0 to the Rochester Americans on Wednesday.
This setback meant that the Montreal Canadiens’ school club might not overtake the Rochester Americans in fourth place in the North Division. Rochester has 61 points, followed by the Rocket with 58. The Belleville Senators are sixth with 57 points and the Cleveland Monsters are two points behind Laval, but they are three more games to play.
