Agricultural Revolution In Cameroon: Wheat And Fish Made In Cameroon On The Move

The Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation in Cameroon, Ms. Madeleine Tchuente, announces major advances for the country’s agricultural development. The objective is to promote the cultivation of wheat and the local production of fish, thus reducing dependence on imports and stimulating the Cameroonian economy.

Thanks to the means provided by the hierarchy, the cultivation of wheat is regarding to become a reality in Cameroon. Ms. Tchuente encourages entrepreneurs and business people to get involved in agribusiness, thereby transforming the agricultural sector and creating job opportunities.

Likewise, the Minister calls for a revolution in fish production, encouraging entrepreneurs to invest in local fish production rather than importing poor quality fish. This initiative aims to improve the quality of products available to Cameroonian consumers and strengthen the national economy.
