The Havana authorities have announced, starting this Saturday, March 30, the holding of agricultural fairs with “affordable” prices in different parts of the capital this weekend.
According to the local newspaper Tribuna de La Habana, the fairs will take place starting today at 7:00 am in several municipalities. Below, we share the list of places: Saturday, March 30. Start from 7:00 am

– Municipality of Eastern Havana. Location: Camilo Cienfuegos District (Rotonda del Camilo).
– Municipality of Regla. Location: Calle Calixto García e/Amburquenque and Ruviera. Guaicanamar Popular Council.
– Municipality of Guanabacoa. Venue: Amphitheater. St. John Forest and False Yard.
– Municipality of San Miguel del Padrón. Location: Calle Mayor and Calzada de Güines.
– Municipality of Marianao. Place: Calle 124 Plaza Cívica.

Product prices at Havana fairs
It is important to highlight that the prices of the products at these fairs will be regulated by local governments, with the aim of guaranteeing accessibility for the population. The fairs are expected to have a large influx of public, so it is recommended to arrive early to avoid long lines.
Among the products that can be found are: Black and red beans: at a price between 20 and 60 pesos per pound. Viands: such as yuccas, sweet potatoes, taro and pumpkins, also with prices between 20 and 60 pesos per pound. Vegetables and greens: such as tomatoes, carrots, onions and chard, at prices that have not yet been specified.
