ONCE at odds in the 2024 presidential election, President-elect Prabowo Subianto and the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) have now agreed to return to a coalition and collaborate in government.
Prabowo Subianto and the PKS elite then exchanged rhymes which meant they would work together in government in the future.
This moment occurred after Prabowo received a number of PKS elites at his residence in Kertanegara, South Jakarta, Friday (11/10/2024).

Initially, Chairman of the PKS Syuro Council, Salim Segaf Al-Jufri, considered that all parties needed to advance Indonesia, which is a pluralistic country.
“In this very diverse country, it is impossible to be managed by just one or two groups. But all components of the nation must work together. “With sincere intentions, hearts that truly have extraordinary desires, together we face problems,” said Salim.
Salim then read a pantun to emphasize the importance of PKS and Prabowo forming a coalition for the nation’s progress.

“If there is no pinisi ship
Where are we willing to navigate the world?
If only we didn’t form a coalition
Which one is willing to advance the nation,” said Salim.
Hearing the rhyme, Prabowo then responded with a rhyme.
“One or two blue chrysanthemums
Three four in a bouquet
If you get a new friend
Don’t forget old friends,” said Prabowo. (Jri/P-3)
