In the morning, the Higher Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine chose a preventive measure against the Minister of Agricultural Policy, Mykola Solskyi, who is suspected of expropriating state land worth UAH 291 million and attempting to expropriate another UAH 190 million. The minister was sent to custody for two months with an alternative to bail.
The court granted the request of the prosecutors and ordered Solsky to be remanded in custody until June 24 with the possibility of bail. At the same time, VAKS reduced the amount of bail from UAH 200 million requested by prosecutors to UAH 75.7 million.
