AGL Gabon becomes more robust in Haut Ogooué –

AGL Gabon has acquired a series of new equipment as part of the strengthening of its operational capacities in Haut-Ogooué. These new items include new pick-ups, a self-loading truck, two trailers and two trucks.

Following the acquisition in 2021 of around twenty trailers and 3 additional axles, this new acquisition supports the company’s progressive development approach and consolidates its commitment to providing quality services to stimulate the local economy. With a total value of 153,000,000 FCFA ≈ 233,000 euros, these investments also aim to increase AGL Gabon’s delivery volumes, particularly in water and sugar.

Equipped with cutting-edge technologies, these machines are specifically designed for transport in difficult conditions, thus ensuring optimal performance on any type of construction site. In addition, the arrival of these machines will allow the company to consolidate its responsible initiatives, by reducing the environmental impact of its operations, thanks to a fleet of more energy-efficient equipment.

« We are convinced that this equipment reinforcement will consolidate our positioning on the market and will contribute to supporting our relationships with our customers by offering them efficient and scalable services. This new equipment will allow us to increase our delivery volumes and offer better responsiveness to our customers.. » declared Patrick GERENTHON, General Manager of AGL Gabon.

With this new acquisition, AGL Gabon in Franceville now has 39 trailers, 14 trucks and 02 self-loading trucks, thus strengthening its capacity to meet the varied logistics needs in the region.

AGL provides, with its 1,100 employees in Gabon, port handling, maritime consignment, transit logistics and customs brokerage services. We offer our customers a local service, perfect knowledge of the markets and control of operations from start to finish of the supply chain. AGL is committed alongside government and port authorities to combat the high cost of living and contribute to the economic and social growth of Gabon, with in particular in its approach to social responsibility an active policy of support for the population and actions oriented towards young people.
