This year, Agfa-Gevaert concluded the sale of its printing plates division to a German group. The company is therefore now mainly active as a manufacturer of radiology equipment and software, medical image viewing software and the production of industrial printers and inks. But it also manufactures, for example, membranes used in the production of green hydrogen.
In the third quarter, the company’s sales fell by 3.4% to 280 million euros. Adjusted Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) increased from 7 to 17 million euros. The group recorded a net loss of 15 million euros. A year earlier, this loss amounted to 17 million euros.
Agfa-Gevaert also confirmed its outlook for the full year on Wednesday.
