A bar in Vicente Pires became the scene of a confrontation involving an agent from the Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) and a delegate from the same corporation. According to preliminary information, the agent, identified as Rodrigo, was attacking a woman at the establishment when delegate Karen Langkammer intervened. The situation escalated when the armed attacker ended up shooting the police officer in the foot.
The incident, which occurred around 12:15 am this Wednesday (27/12), led to the intervention of the DF Military Police (PMDF). The agent, visibly out of control, fired shots on public roads before being spotted by the police, who promptly acted to contain the situation.
The police negotiated the surrender of the agent, who was behind a white car. With his hands up, he was disarmed by the police, and a 9 mm Glock pistol was found in his possession, as well as eight rounds of ammunition and a magazine.
Rodrigo was arrested in the act for shooting on a public street, causing bodily harm and criminal acts. Initially registered at the 8th Police Station (Structural), the case was forwarded to the General Police Inspectorate (CGP) to investigate the facts.
