Agencies use AI to increase client revenue

Marketing agencies are increasingly embracing automation and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies as a way to increase revenue for their clients. These tools, once considered distant promises, now occupy an essential space in companies throughout Brazil. However, a recent study reveals that many companies still face challenges in extracting the full potential of these technologies.

A survey carried out by the software company OTRS Group interviewed 600 executives between March and April of this year. The results, published in the study “OTRS Spotlight: IT Service Management 2023“, reveal that 50% of respondents claim they do not have time to learn regarding automation tools and AI.

Despite this, the Brazilian market leads with regard to process automation. Of those interviewed, 52% have already purchased some type of tool with the aim of reducing costs (22%) and increasing customer satisfaction (19%). However, the question arises of how to make these initiatives effective if executives say they don’t have time to understand the new solutions available in the market.

In this scenario, marketing agencies are reinventing themselves. They develop their own tools or specialize in the analysis of data generated by them, working side by side with organizations.

Andreas Bender, Vice President of Consulting at OTRS Group, points out that AI and machine learning alone do not add value to the business. He cautions that without the human experience to select the right tools from a myriad of options and implement them in a personalized way in each company, nothing will work.

According to the executives interviewed, the main benefits of automation and artificial intelligence tools are time savings (23%), accelerated company growth (19%) and cost reduction (18%).
