Agen: pileups and series of exchanges on the Florida program

Two evenings will liven up the week on the Florida side with an afterwork and a “caroming” evening that promises to do artistic damage!

On the eve of the Montparnasse Musique concert, the Agen theater will give the A from Thursday, November 17 from 6:30 p.m., around an afterwork. A way to shed even more light on the work of director and photographer Renaud Barret “around the urban jungle of Kinshasa, from social and political chaos to the prolific emerging art scene”. Visitors will be able to discover a whole series of photos and especially the film “System K”. At the end of this screening, he will answer all the questions during a discussion period.

A now usual meeting

The next day, at 8:30 p.m., the Florida offers a pile-up evening. An appointment now well recorded on the Agen scene. The goal is very simple with the meeting of two groups who do not know each other. Different origins, universes that are just as different for a unique creation that will therefore be born on the Florida stage.

In this case, the French group Commandos Percus and the South Africans Montparnasse Musique accepted this challenge. From this Wednesday, November 16, the two groups will meet on the Florida side to prepare this unique creation, during a three-day residency. Which promises a beautiful artistic and explosive explosiveness. On Friday evening, the two groups will perform their original repertoire before presenting the result of their Agenese collaboration.

The Commandos Percus are not unknown in Agenaise land. Their fans and the others have not forgotten their visit to the prefecture city on the occasion of the Agen festivities. A show that looks like percussion and pyrotechnics.

Upstream of these two evenings on the boards of the Florida, the artists will open up to a time of meetings and exchanges with the Lot-et-Garonnais.
