A family traveling on Provincial Route 61º hit a horse that was loose in the area, near Junin de los Andes. The animal died minutes after the impact and the family made a statement on social networks. At the beginning of the month there was a accident with the same characteristics in Añelo.
As reported by FM del Lago, the family was traveling along Provincial Route 61º on Friday night towards Lake Huechulafquen when collided with a horse that crossed the road. It was 12 km from Junín de los Andes.
The driver failed to brake or avoid the animal that died minutes after impact. The driver was the one who required less assistance, while two children, their mother and grandmother were taken to the hospital.
