After the suicide of a threatened doctor: the accused does not even exist

Threatened by radical opponents of vaccination, the Upper Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr committed suicide in her practice in Seewalchen on July 29, 2022. In Berlin and Munich, three suspects are now being investigated in the case, but one of the names has now turned out to be false personal information, like that Crown newspaper reported.

“Not a real person”

Two suspects who are said to have written and sent hate messages were investigated in Berlin, and a 59-year-old man was searched in Bavaria. According to the Berlin Public Prosecutor’s Office, charges are not yet in sight. “We are investigating two suspects. In the case of one of the two names, however, we now know that it is a matter of false personal information, behind which there is no real person. With the second that exists, it must be clarified to what extent there is any involvement at all,” she quotes Krone a spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office.

For the offense of “threat” only a fine or imprisonment of up to one year is provided. There will be new findings at the end of February at the earliest.

In Munich, the suspect from the Starnberg district is being investigated, and the public prosecutor’s office is examining the data carriers seized in August.
