Ljusdal municipality is shaken after a man who worked at several preschools is suspected of having committed abuse against nine girls.
Earlier this year, the police searched the man’s house, where files with illegal content were found. In total, the computer was emptied of 400,000 files.
– I can’t understand that something like that can happen here, says Petra Sundell, a resident of Ljusdal.
“A trauma”
The municipality called a press conference on Wednesday morning.
– This is a trauma for the municipality of Ljusdal that will take a long time to heal, he said during the press conference on Wednesday morning, then the municipal director Mikael Björk said.
The reactions among the residents are strong, and many are in shock at what happened at the municipality’s preschools.
