A few hours following the conviction of the leader of the Pastef Ousmane Sonko in the context of the trial opposing him to the Minister of Tourism Mame Mbaye Niang, the leader of FDS Dr Babacar Diop et cie asked for light on the management of the 29 billion of our francs in under the Community Agricultural Domains Programme.

« The Senegalese people have paid a heavy price in the sham trial that resulted in the conviction of Ousmane Sonko: loss of life, many injuries, hundreds of arrests, an economy at a standstill, massive destruction of public and private goods, the paralysis of classes in schools and universities.
All this damage bears the full responsibility of Macky Sall who, to come to the rescue of one of his henchmen, did not care to mobilize public power in a repressive madness that ended up costing the Senegalese dearly.

If the will of the President of the Republic was to bury the PRODAC scandal through this travesty of justice, it is a waste of time.
Taxpayer money is worth far more than the sullied honor of a minister cited in financial carnage.

FDS-Les Guelwaars still demands light on the PRODAC affair. In any case, the day the rule of law is restored in Senegal, Mame Mbaye Niang will report on the management of our twenty-nine billion francs. All embezzled funds will be returned to the people down to the last penny.
FDS-Les Guelwaars also demands the immediate and unconditional release of all unjustly and arbitrarily arrested protesters. Freedom of demonstration is a sacred right which must be exercised without any restriction, in accordance with the Constitution.
FDS-Les Guelwaars expresses its solidarity with Ousmane Sonko and demands that an end be put to the political relentlessness and judicial harassment of which he is the victim. The Senegalese people will no longer accept that the President of the Republic, as in the past, replaces the Constitutional Council to choose the candidates for the presidential election, by the instrumentalization of justice and the manipulation of the electoral code.
The presidential election of 2024, which will be the occasion to definitively close the Macky Sall page, will be an open competition subject to the arbitration of the sovereign people and not to the will of a monarch at the end of his reign.
The blind and violent repression of the demonstrations in recent days is proof that Macky Sall is ready to burn Senegal to achieve his crazy dream of a third term.
