At the stroke of noon, this Friday, the Liège firefighters confirmed that the identity of the body, spotted at the start of the morning in the waters of the Meuse at Lixhe and then fished out, might be established. It is a four-year-old child, reported missing since the day before, as well as his mother. The lady remains, at this hour, untraceable.
According to initial investigations, she left her home around 9 p.m.; his phone was turned off a few tens of minutes later. Her vehicle was found, doors closed but unlocked, near Robinson Island, still on the municipal territory of Visé and it was the father of the family, around 10 p.m. who, worried regarding not seeing her return, alerted the police. The classic neighborhood survey has begun, as has the analysis of the latest communications exchanged. But the results, like the conclusions of an autopsy of the kid, are not yet known.
