After the disaster of the earthquake… Syrian stars stand by the victims of the disaster

After the devastating earthquake that hit the north of the country, many Syrian artists mobilized to stand by those affected, whether through field work on the ground or by organizing campaigns on social media.

One of the most prominent positions that reflected the importance of the artist’s role in standing by people in disasters was what artists Bassem Yakhour and Fadi Sobeih did.

Where we cooperated in collecting donations and organized the process of transporting them to the affected areas and shipping them personally in the cars designated for that.

A large number of Arab audiences and followers interacted with the artists doing this volunteering, expressing their humanity and giving them priority to such circumstances.

The Syrian actress, Shukran Murtaja, in turn, expressed her deep sorrow regarding what happened to the areas affected by the earthquake, and mobilized her pages on social media to support campaigns aimed at delivering aid to those who deserve it.

While the artist, Abed Fahd, took the initiative to propose the necessary solutions to shelter the affected people in the affected cities by resorting to hotels and tourist complexes.

The artist, Amal Arafa, expressed her thanks to everyone who helped Syria in this disaster, and also shared information regarding many campaigns aimed at providing the necessary assistance to those affected by the earthquake.

The Syrian artist, Yasser Al-Azma, expressed solidarity with those affected, expressing his regret over what happened in the country and wishing a speedy recovery for all the injured.

The Artists Syndicate in Syria thanked Sulaf Fawakherji and Wael Ramadan, following they donated a sum of money to the earthquake victims in Syria.

The Syndicate shared a picture of them on its official Facebook account and commented, “The Artists Syndicate thanks the star Sulaf Fawakherji and the star Wael Ramadan for their humanitarian and patriotic contribution by donating 21 million Syrian pounds, for the benefit of our affected people in the provinces affected by the earthquake that our beloved Syria was exposed to.”

Singer Nassif Zeitoun each donated 350 million Syrian pounds, or regarding $140,000, and actor Tim Hassan donated 107 million Syrian pounds, equivalent to $42,000.

While Hussam Junaid and Emarat Rizk donated 200 million Syrian pounds, or the equivalent of 80,000 US dollars.

As for the Syrian actor, Bassam Koussa, he donated 15 million Syrian pounds (6 thousand US dollars).
