After the death of a black citizen by a white police officer in the capital of the American state of Minnesota, riots and riots have been going on in various states for the past 6 days.
The protestors are demanding that the lives of black people in America be protected and they should be given the right to freedom like other white citizens.
Several American companies and Facebook have also blackened their logos in protest over the death of a black American man and have strongly condemned the misbehavior.
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg shared a lengthy post in which he said, “We stand with the black farm community and all those working for justice like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmoud Arberry and The names of others will never be forgotten’.
Mark Zuckerberg said, “I know that the Facebook platform needs to do more to support the fight for equality and protection of black people.”
“I’m grateful that Darnella Frazier posted the video of George Floyd’s murder on Facebook because we all need to see it, we need to know George Floyd’s name, but it’s clear that Fee “Buck has to do more to keep people safe and make sure our system doesn’t promote bias.”
The founder of Facebook said that ‘organizations working for justice need funds and for this we offer one million dollars’.
