It seems that misfortune is chasing the Egyptian artist Mona Zaki during this period, as his sources revealed that her new play “The Bride” has been postponed indefinitely.
She was supposed to return to the theater during the Riyadh season, and her co-star, the artist Ahmed El-Sakka.
The reason for the postponement of the play, according to sources, is due to Ahmed El-Sakka’s preoccupation with filming his new Ramadan series “The Choice 3”, in which he is currently putting all his focus and time.
Al-Saqa found it very difficult to reconcile between the series and the play, because the latter requires a free time and a long time for preparations, rehearsals, and travel to Saudi Arabia to be shown there, which completely contradicts his new series, because of which he entered a closed camp for more than a month.
For the previous reasons, Mona Zaki got into a predicament due to the postponement of the play, which she hoped to return to in the coming period, especially following the postponement of her new series “Lam Shamsia”, in which she was supposed to run the next Ramadan race, as the producing company announced that it would stop its preparations. It was postponed to next year for fear of disrupting it due to the Covid 19 virus.
